Organizational climate is essential in developing a culture of incorruptible individuals and this climate is set by the organizations leaders. Within the SCORE unit of the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (KCKPD) at the time of the indictment, it was not clear if leaders set a tone of ethical conduct, nor did it appear that principled conduct was the cornerstone of the command leadership philosophy. Specifically, all ethical standards for Kansas City Police Department are derived from Wyandotte County Unified Government code of ethics and the police department lacks police specific philosophies toward ethical conduct (Unified Government Ordinance, 2009). Although, the International Chiefs of Police have established a code of honor adopted by many police departments, it is unclear bases on empirical information what KCKPD leadership expected of their Police officers. Answer : Introducation The advertisement of jobs and positions in various organizations is mostly accompanied by specifications of the technical and soft skills that are required. The technical skills are those which are easily teachable and can be quantified (Tarim, 2015). As such, they can be learned from the books, on the job, the classroom and other areas (Operations, 2017). These skills include typing speed, computer programming, foreign language proficiency, experience in a field among others. On the other hand, soft skills refer to the abilities that one possesses and influences the way he/she interacts and relates with other individuals. Soft skills; communication, persuasion, time management, ethics, teamwork, motivation among others are very vital for organizational progress. In this regard, there is need to focus on three advertisements from New Zealand and sample out two soft skills and two technical expertise from each of them for discussion (Tarim, 2015). These advertisements are; a machine o perator for Adecco Personnel Limited in Canterbury, a senior customer support for a company based in the CBD of Auckland, and an Operations Manager Tree Services for Downer New Zealand (NZ) company. As such, the soft skills of excellent communication and teamwork and the technical skills of computer literacy and experience are vital for the role of an operations and productions manager. The Adecco Company advertised for a machine operator, and the soft skills needed teamwork spirit and the ability to follow instructions. The technical skills needed includes aptitude in mechanics and the manufacturing industry experience (Operations, 2017). The ability to work well with other people is a skill that many people find hard to comfortably exhibit. The reason this company wants such an individual is the nature of the job. Machine operators have a powerful ability to propel the companys profits to higher levels, and they must work hand in hand with other departments of the company. Furthermore, they directly handle the products of the company, as such, their competence and success are directly proportional to that of the enterprise. Intriguingly, teamwork is a luxury that I always enjoy because it makes work easier. I have an inherent ability to work in harmony with other people demonstrated by my schoolwork and successes (Operations, 2017). I have worked closely with my classmates in group works, my family at home, some jobs among others. For instance, I worked for a year at a firm in Wellington and was recommended to be the best in teamwork. The other skill is the adherence to instructions. This is called loyalty. The compa ny needs a respectful person who will understand the needs of the firm. I have demonstrated on various occasions that I follow instructions (Operations, 2017). The mechanical aptitude needed by the firm is a lucrative skill that I possess. Learning is a continuous process. Always, I have demonstrated the prowess to quickly grasp content ranging from theoretical work in school to the practical bit. As such, I can fit in the firm. Moreover, the skill of working in a manufacturing environment may prove a challenge, but I believe that I can handle the pressure. Therefore, the company needs an individual whose abilities and skills I possess. The Auckland company needs a senior customer support manager whose roles would be seeing the clients and managing their operations at first sight ("Jobs on CareerOne New Zealand", 2017). As such, quality and lengthy conversations with the customers. The technical skills needed are interpretation of information and having a strong experience in the provision of customer services. Empathy refers to the ability to put oneself in the shoes of the other and understand their situation. This job requires such an individual because customers express their disappointments and goodness through the same organization. I have demonstrated empathy one time when I had to listen to a fellow student who was accusing a lecturer that I held with high regard. I did not allow my emotions to overtake me because the lecturer in question was a good friend of mine. Moreover, I have good communication skills that have been nurtured through public speaking and youth church sessions. The interpretation of information skill has been emphasized to enhance the analysis and derive good outcome of the client sentiments. I have a powerful statistical background. Adding this to the listening skill, I have been able to interpret information from researches, public processes among others (Harvey, Heineke, Lewis, 2016). Contract management is a learned tactic that only experience can enhance its success. As such, I have no expertise in this section because of my novice nature in the management industry. The computer skills are needed in contract management because there is a specific software that is used during the process. In this regard, there is need to have a more skilled person who can handle the issues. I have an enormous experience in the use of computers basic packages, typing and internet access use (Hall, Cockburn, 2014). Since my childhood, I have had an opportunity of attending computer skills. I am privy to the use of MS Outlook, Word, Access, Publisher, Pow erPoint, among others (Levenstein, 2013). Additionally, I can handle other issues of computers such as installing Operating Systems, upgrading them, changing technology among others ("Operational Manager Tree Services Job in Wellington - SEEK," 2017). For example, I usually get hired to type content for companies which have huge data using MS word. I also help my colleagues on computer matters. As such, I can handle this job with utmost ability. The soft skills of commitment and perseverance are needed because any mess can destruct the contracts under management (Lohana, 2015). Therefore, the job is lucrative but technical as well.
